Confusion and miscommunication marred the early days of an investigation into local resident Sarah Rogers’ disappearance, authorities said. Rogers missed Christmas with her family and her son Elias’ second birthday, in January. Her family said they are scheduled to appear on NBC’s “Today” show this morning to ask for help finding her.
