Private Jets : Real luxury!

by Ray Lam

There are private jets and then there are private jets. The difference is the level of luxury that goes with these different types of private jets. The first type of private jet is nothing more than a smaller airplane that contains a few first class style seating. The convenience of these comes from using them whenever and however you want.

There are private jets however, that are more than just a first class small plane. There are private jets that come equipped with everything from a kitchen to a bar and even a sleeping cabin. There are some that have a table, very comfortable chairs even couches. In addition, one of the best things is that you can move around as you wish. You can have something larger than just a cubicle you cannot move in for a bathroom and all the comforts of home while you are in the air.

Extravagance like this is great and if you spend a large amount of time in the air and do a number of international flights or if you have to fly from location to location without much of a break in between then having a sleeping chamber or a decent sized bathroom is definitely something that should be considered. Something else to consider is the seating if you are spending a lot of time flying from place to place than having comfortable seating that gives plenty of legroom and offers a decent sized workspace is something that is definitely going to be worth your while to consider.

What this new industry is doing is turning the private jet interiors into a place that you can spend 12 to 14 hours in luxury. Unlike the cattle drives of the air in which most people fly, to describe the work that is done to these flying palaces as comfortable would be a gross understatement. So just what are some of the requirements of the corporations and the rich and famous? Try bedrooms and lavatories with gold plated fixtures, multiple kitchens and office suites. State of the art digital entertainment systems, antiques and just about anything your imagination and pocketbook can think of.

It is a good idea to know what you want and make sure that you get everything you want. Planes can last for a number of years if well maintained and if you are flying regularly or you spend more time in the air than on the ground than having a comfortable place to rest between jobs is definitely worth the price.
