Information Marketing Secret By Dan Kennedy: Use Multiple Media
Big name Internet marketing gurus are considered impossible to reach but Andy Duncan of netswingers.com did it. He found a way to get in with people like John Carleton, Alex Mandossian, Tellman Knudson, Ray Edwards, Dave Lakhani and Mark Joyner on his first online marketing project. Then he did what most beginners wouldn’t dream of: He did the same things they did!
As part of the Future Of Information Marketing series of interviews for Dan Kennedy, Rob Toth interviewed Andy as one of the information marketers that are able to really “rake in the dough”.
“I got to know a lot of successful people online and that launched my entire career”, said Andy. “I went from zero to six figures in literally four months starting from scratch.”
Andy has been mainly involved in the film business. According to Andy when you are starting off it’s best to work with something you already know. You should work in the field where you have a passion for the subject. “I love film…story telling…I am excited about that.”
His main objective, when he interviewed the big online marketers, was to learn how to use Internet marketing to help people in the film business. Andy says “putting this all together has been a lot of fun”.
Andy has found a lot of success with multi-media in information marketing. He says that information marketing will be around for a long time because people need to know things. And “because of the Internet you can know it very very quickly”.
Whatever it is that you are trying to learn to do, whatever you are trying to sell, whatever it is that you are trying to learn to get ahead in some way, multimedia is your way to learn it a lot quicker.
People absorb learning information faster with multi-media. Andy says to use audio, video, radio, TV… all of it to drive traffic to your site. Multiple media works the same way as multi-media because people absorb the advertising messages from different media more easily. A sort of synergy is created when you advertise in multiple mediums so people act on the message more quickly. “Multi-media is the way to maket it happen in a bigger way and a lot faster.
