How to earn money on the Internet Today!

by Di Chapman

At Become A Virtual Assistant, we have been asked by lots of people “How can you avoid ‘Working From Home Scams?’”. They feel scared about working via the Internet. They hear so many stories about scams that they assume that all work offered via the net is rubbish. With a little bit of common sense, the rubbish can easily be sorted from real earning opportunities. Hopefully in this article I will be able to show you how to quickly check to see if it is real or fake. I have been working via the Internet for over 10 years so have some experience in this.

Home Typing Scams - be very careful about this one

Fortunately, these scams are becoming less and less but please be warned that they do still exist. Read on to learn how you can work out if it is a fake or not.

Medical Billing Scam

If you are asked to pay for billing software, take this as a warning sign about a scam and surf on.

Craft Assembly

As you know there is a lot of competition out there for selling goods, in the UK and abroad, so the chances of you being able to sell home-made items at a profit is unlikely. That is how this type of work fails but added to that some scams ask you to return the completed items to them for a quality check. As you may guess, you fail the quality check (no matter how good the items) and you never see the products, your payment or anything in return for your efforts again.

How to sniff out a scam

The list below contains some questions to be asking yourself to try and identify scams. It is not an extensive list but a good start to raise your awareness.

Is there a website for the company?

Is it a good website and not something put together by an 11 year old?

Is it well explained and is there a lot of information available?

Are there any testimonials and do they have pictures and contact details?

Does the company offer video or other training?

Is there a money back guarantee? If so does it have a big black and gold logo giving the timescale for the guarantee? Does it simply offer a lifetime guarantee? If the company is paid via Clickbank/PayPal or PayDotCom you will ALWAYS be able to get your money back in 60 days.

You can also look out for other organisations that have trust logos on their website. They come in various shapes and sizes so be diligent and look carefully.

Have a go at trying to sniff out some of the scams, we did and found a few genuine sites.

Another method for sniffing out scams is common sense. If the deal seems too good to be true it probably is. For instance earning $25,000 in three months is probably a scam. There is no way easy way to make big money fast.

Please do not be put off by scams. Follow the link at the bottom of the page for details of a site we have worked with and researched thoroughly.
