Nowadays, many people, just to lose weight and look good will pay substantial sums of money for diet pills or joins weight loss programs. However this need not always be the case because the most effective ways can just be the cheapest and most obvious as well. People because of it simplicity tend not to take notice of it until someone point it out to them. For this method to work, you just need a small investment in time.
The method is regular breakfast! Did you think I am going to recommend you a fad diet? Sorry, my friends, then I have really disappointed you! How do you think people managed to keep their weight at the optimum level when there were no diet pills or weight loss supplements? By NOT skipping breakfast! Too many people ignore the fact that they should have breakfast in the morning. Many busy professionals skip breakfasts on the pretext of ‘lack of time’. However, there are two reasons why skipping breakfasts can result in weight gain:
1. What essentially occurs is that when we wake up, our body is just gearing up for the day. So we will start off our metabolism rate slowly and gradually picking up when we take in more and more food. Our body will start burning off the calories that we had consume for energy so that we can be more active and energetic during the day. If we skipped our breakfast, what happened is that we will start to feel weak throughout the day.
Without any breakfast, our body will have no calories to burn, so it will slow down the metabolism rate to conserve energy instead. When that happens, fats will be burnt at a slower rate leading to more deposit and accumulation on our body of those fats which are not burnt away. But when your metabolism rate is high, you will instead be able to burn away all those unwanted fats at a faster rate. That why you will not gain weight if your metabolism rate is high.
This is the main reason why skipping breakfast will result in weight gain. There is also another reason why skipping breakfast will result in weight gain.
2. You are more likely to gorge on fast foods: When you leave for office on an empty stomach, you are very likely to enter into a fast food restaurant and gorge on whatever is available there without caring for their calorie content. Fast foods are usually rich in calories, and regular fast food consumption is one of the primary reasons behind the increasing cases of obesity in today’s world.
This is why you should make sure that you never skip your breakfast, even for a day. What should you eat for breakfast? You should usually eat low-calorie foods such as raw vegetables and fruits for your breakfast; breads made from whole grain wheat are also good. Also make sure that you cook your food at home, rather than ordering it from a restaurant. This way you can make sure that what you are eating is not very rich in calorie content.
Avoid having chips and soda in your breakfast: they will fill your body with loads of empty and useless calories, which will automatically be deposited in your body as fat!
